C R Jose Chimney Sweep has been sweeping chimneys and servicing heating appliances in the Vale of Glamorgan since 1965. We sweep all types of fireplaces, flues, multi fuel and wood burning stoves. We also provide maintenance and repair services for wood and multi fuel stoves. We always provide a professional and friendly service with extensive knowledge and experience developed over 35 years. Registered with SweepSafe, certificates of sweeping can be provided.
History
C R Jose Chimney Sweep is a family business established in 1965 by my late father Charlie Jose still fondly remembered by many of our long standing customers. When growing up, myself, my brother and sister all helped him on his rounds, listening to his stories and laughter with his customers. Today C R Jose Chimney Sweep is a husband and wife team, I sweep the chimneys and my wife handles customer phone calls, bookings and customer service. We are based in Llantwit Major and cover all areas of the Vale of Glamorgan, Bridgend and all surrounding villages and towns. We look forward to hearing from you, Steve and Stella Jose.

I am a registered chimney sweep with SWEEPSAFE. I was previously a HETAS engineer for 15 years installing and commissioning multi fuel stoves and flue liners, so you can have confidence in my knowledge and experience with these appliances. I have over 35 years experience sweeping chimneys for my family business.
Before sweeping chimneys full time, I was a technician for British Airways based in BAMC Cardiff for 10 years and prior to that, a motor mechanic and MOT tester. In my spare time I renovate classic cars and motorbikes.
